Vice Chair: Erin Yang
Erin Yang is a dedicated and involved member of the KLS community. At home, she loves to spend time with her three cats and drink lots (and lots) of coffee. She also loves gardening and taking care of her indoor plants, who, unfortunately, have the habit of dying for literally no reason whatsoever. If you ever find her around the school, don’t hesitate to drop by and say hi!
I’ve been on LT for three years, contributing to everything from Orientation to Events to Community Meetings, giving me deep insight into how we operate and the experience needed to drive growth. As Community Coordinator on Student Council, I’ve proven my consistency, follow-through, and ability to adapt to student needs. When students voiced frustration with Community Meetings, I led a full redesign and launched the House Program, transforming them into a space that builds the culture students want. I turn student feedback into action, turning concerns into meaningful, lasting change.
As Vice Chair, I’ll work to build a more connected and engaged school community. I plan to redesign Villa Square into a central space where students are motivated and able to share ideas, give feedback, and stay informed about Leadership Team projects. Within LT, I’ll introduce a Protégé Program to foster mentorship between newer and more experienced members, supporting leadership growth and preserving institutional knowledge. My goal is to make involvement more accessible, ensure feedback leads to real action, and create a culture where every student's voice plays a role in shaping our community.
