Chair: Aaditya Mathur
Hi, I’m Aaditya. This is my third year at KLS, and I’m passionate about aerospace engineering, soccer, and reading. I love the vibe at KLS because everyone knows each other, and there’s always something exciting happening! In my free time, I enjoy playing Microsoft Flight Simulator and FIFA, eating sushi, learning more about planes, and playing sports (I can't play them anymore because I broke my toe lol). I am looking forward to senior year at KLS!
I’ve gained leadership experience across Robotics, the Aerospace Club, the Wharton Investment Challenge, and more. For the past two years, I’ve served on the Robotics leadership, helping manage a 40-person scouting team during competitions. I also founded the Aerospace Club here at KLS, we’ve launched two rockets this year and are currently building a drone! Back in 9th grade, I captained my Wharton Investment Challenge team and led our 8-person group to place in the top 15% out of 1,655 teams worldwide. My experiences have prepared me to bring fresh ideas and a new perspective to KLS as Chair.
My goal as Chair is to empower students to take action in building the community they want to see. That means making Student Leadership more transparent—through bimonthly updates and open discussions—and working closely with admin to give students real-world opportunities, like learning to build furniture or even help manage parts of KLS’s finances. I also want to launch a middle school–high school buddy program to strengthen connections across grades. Most of all, I want every student to feel seen, heard, and understood in this community.
